Ok... I was thinking about my next challenge as I pulled into the hotel, and saw the vehicle I would like to see next to a TDI.

Going back to 2008, I had a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix which was a really nice car to have. At 33K miles I got hit in a parking lot in Jersey, which did about 14K in damages to the front end, and I paid 15K for the car. They didn't total it, possibly due to corruption in Jersey as they claimed to find additional damage after they started the repair. The additional damage "found" was the front bumper, missing headlight, driver's fender...

Anyway, they repaired it and I was looking to purchase a new car, and it was a toss-up between two... a 2009 Jetta TDI and a 2008 Pontiac G8 GT.

So...

Current Challenge (#653): Your TDI next to/near/with a Pontiac G8, prefer GT or GXP but base will do DOUBLE WINS for the Firehawk

Question Who had the most post on the last thread?

Current Challenge: (#652) Your TDI in a car wash (that wash the car by hand)
800x600: YES PLEASE!

Also, I'd like to add to that and request that anyone who quotes a post, please remove the image tags if that post contains a picture. This will save the server from having to load tons of quoted pictures. Don't worry, the picture URL will still show up and you can click on it if you'd like.

Regarding who posted in the previous thread: http://forums.tdiclub.com/misc.php?d...osted&t=348842

I agree in part. I have seen folks quote a post with the maximum number of pictures, then say, "Right on" or some such.

But there are times when quoting with the picture works best.

It's sugar time! Lived in New Hampshire many years ago and your pics bring back fond memories. Thanks! On a trip up there to visit friends a couple of years back, I saw one farmer who had his trees connected with a bunch of tubing leading to a trailer with a big tank on it.

Yes they do that over here too. A farmer here has his tubing of various sizes hooked to literally thousands of trees! He also uses a vacuum pump to suck the sap out. The last time I was there two years ago he had just over three thousand trees tapped!

Here is a picture of his Sugar Camp. He has quite an operation going. He has won many state awards for his sugars and syrups. Sorry I couldn't get my car that far back in the woods to take a fresh pic!
