We have officially launched our ECO and HOT tunes for 2000-2006 VW TDi vehicles.

Our package comes with a handheld flash tool along with the ECO and HOT tunes for your specific vehicle. The introductory price is $695 and we are currently offering a $100 discount to TDIClub members.

Additional information pertaining to the tunes and purchasing can be found on our website: www.greendieselengineering.com

The GDE tuning methodology focuses on maximizing fuel efficiency along with more linear drive ability and a solid increase in performance. All our our tunes eliminate additional soot buildup in intake manifold, no more intake throttling, acceptable smoke levels and faster warmup in winter driving.

We are also available at (248) 977-9531 for inquiries.

Below is additional information pertaining to our VW tuning options and benefits for model years 2000 through 2006:

The torque curves with the GDE tunes are much broader and relatively flat from 2000-3400 rpm. This dramatically improves drivability and vehicle response in all conditions. This is achieved without a boost spike or a peaky torque curve to provide a more linear feeling when driving.

FUEL ECONOMY COMPARISON

The fuel economy improvements are considerable when driving a constant speeds or accelerating conservatively, roughly 5mpg improvement on the PD motor and 2mpg on the ALH motor. If driving aggressively it is feasible to maintain stock fuel economy with much more performance. Driving style has a significant impact on overall fuel economy.

The ECO tune has a smoother pedal map to help achieve the FE gains in the part load operation. The HOT tune has an aggressive pedal map to provide better response, but this tends to reduce the FE slightly.

Also, a link detailing the performance increase from 0-60 mph along with power/torque curves for those focused improving vehicle drive ability:
