GTG Lk Stevens, July 21st

The date has been set. Everything will start at 9 AM and run until the last person goes home. The previous winner of that award was a no-show last year so hopefully the old champ will be back to reclaim their title.

We’ll provide main food (hamburgers, hot dogs and other mains), plates, forks/spoons, cups, and pop/water. Please bring the rest. I have 2 BBQs so bring what you want to cook if that does not suit you.

We have a two-car garage and a couple of tents for the sun. Basic tools, brake bleeder, ramps, jack, and top-sider.

This is a family friendly GTG as we have lots of room to roam, just sit and relax or wrench. I do live on water so if you bring little ones, they must be watched. Like fishing, bring a pole.

Unbelieveable! I went to put in for the time off from work for the GTG and was told that I wouldn't get it off because they didn't hire enough seasonal workers this year! Over a month's notice and I can't get a couple of days off?! What a load of garbage!! This SUCKS!!

I will meet southerners at the Fife/Federal Way WSDOT weigh station/rest stop. Google maps says MP140 from NB I-5 (or just after exit 137)

Probably 8ish at the rest area? Arrive at Lake Stevens around 9:30am.
