Cruise stalk interchange?
Does anyone know if the newer style cruise stalk would work in a 99.5 car? I like the rocker switch on my 02, and would love to retrofit the same controls on my 99.5

I have installed the rocker end switch stalk on my cars when the original got flakey. I think VW went to the rocker because it is a better switch. If it comes out of an A4 chassis, it will fit. Plug & play.

Mine isn't broken, I just think the rocker is so much more intuitive.. Whenever I drive my 99.5, I am constantly pressing the wrong buttons when trying to change speeds while cruising..

I guess I should test mine. I replaced the stalk because the headlight dimmer was bad and the new one had the controls built into it. The steering wheel controls still function so I never tried the new ones.
