Well, it is only the last four digits, and there are other secret question options. But still it shouldn't be done.

Social Security Account Number, but colloquially shortened to "social security number" which is where you get "ssn". This is inaccurate since the number is actually assigned to the ACCOUNT, not the person. Think of it like your bank accounts.

SSN usually designates a nuclear-powered attack submarine, i.e.,
USS Los Angeles (SSN-688)

You can also (optionally) give them your date of birth and phone number.
I don't recommend giving that information, or any part of your social security number to anyone. Certainly not for something like this. However, none of it is required to register for the sweepstakes.

There's no VW trucks in the US that spec this oil. This is a truck oil that happens to work very well in older (pre-common rail) TDIs.
