Default 01M Transmission Swap to 5 Speed

Looking for a mechanic in New England willing to help me find all parts necessary to do an 01M to 5 speed tranny swap.....and of course do the swap....

I would love to hear an update on the status of your project i am thinking of doing this conversion as well with a 05 Beetle in the boston area

I used Keith Harley of KMH Motors. He did an amazing job. The price was fair and he was great at communicating.
I got the car back last Friday. It is awesome as a 5 speed....

Wow, that was fast! Can anyone recommend someone in Southern California for the same swap? I had the tranny rebuilt at 90,00 and it lasted until 343,00 but now it's shot and I'm ready for a swap!

I have a 5 speed swap for sale with installation (includes new bolts, new shifter boot, vw gear lube, alignment...) for $1800. Located in western MA.
