Default Jetta 5 1.9TDi DSG BXE

I recently purchased a 2007 Jetta 5 1.9TDi DSG with the BXE engine code. What oil should I use because I don't know if the BXE engine is a common rail or not.

Any Advice?

Welcome to the cllub.

This is a PD engine with Diesel Particulate Filter.

You should be using nothing but oil meeting VW 507.00 quality standart which is only in 5w-30 viscosity.
