It's about time VW came out with this. BMW has had one available for quite a while, and it's cheaper ($7.25) - I have one on order from a local BMW dealer. If I had known that VW had one available I might have bought it, since I just ordered some VW parts yesterday.

Have Fun!

Don

Any idea if the automatic pump cutoff still works with this adapter?

I have not tried it. Next time I fuel up I will try and see if the automatic shut off works. Unfortunately I just filled up yesturday and I usually fill up once a month. In the mean time I will see if anyone else knows if the automatic shut off works.

I find this pump fuel nozzle mismatch an annoying feature of my 2010 JSW. Today, for instance, I actually had trouble removing it at a Shell station after fillup. I never had this problem with my previous 2002 TDI wagon. Now, I'm aware of a mismatch at most pumps. The VW extension tube doesn't sound too attractive, having to deal with fuel odor as well as uncertainty that auto shut-off works.

Sorry ,I did not realize it does not show on our website. I spoke with my parts manager and he told me that the part number is correct but has not been updated in ETKA yet. If you need to order one you can call Mike Reid our parts manager at 954-590-3825 and he will be glad to assist you.

Just listen for the foam roaring at the bottom of the fill tube where it meets the tank. I used to fillup FX4 Taxis in the UK and if you didn't cut off when you heard the foam roaring you got a faceful of projectile diesel

You will hear a commotion coming from the tube as the foam begins to build up. This tells you the fuel has reached the bottom of the tube

Just loaded this part onto your shopping car but pricing is shown at the list price. Is there some sort of code I need to enter to get the discounting? I ask not only because of this $12 part, but for the sake of ordering larger purchases.

thanks
