I just moved to PDX, when's the next GTG? I totally missed the TDIFest 2010

Welcome to Fred's and welcome to the PNW! There is always the annual late Spring GTG at Jorry's in Lake Steven's WA! There is also the late Aug west fest! And usually there are 1 or 2 more each year thrown by active regional members. I wish I wasn't in a crummy apt or I'd host one myself. AFAIK, there aren't any GTG's scheduled yet!

where's the best place to look for local events? i was a member of BMWCCA and the Alfa Romeo Owners Club and we would meet on Fridays once a month. anything like that in PDX?

I'm not aware of scheduled meetings that frequent in the TDI community. Don't see a reason why it *wouldn't* work though! Usually people post up in the west coast regional section for local stuff going on.
