Default P2100 Fault Code

Today my 2001PD Wagon threw this code. Found on this site that it is "Throttle Actuator Control Motor Circuit/Open"

Can anyone tell me what that means and what I should be doing?
Was able to clear it with my Scan Guage and it went away for now.

The Scan Guage said P2100.
When I did a search I found it to be "Throttle Actuator Control Motor Circuit/Open"
Not quite sure what to do or where to find it!!

Just checked the RossTech site....
there is no mention of a P2100 fault code.

What to do now??

If you can find someone locally with VCDS it will give you a more accurate code, SGII somtimes repprts generic OBDII codes.

Just wondering if this is something I can handle myself.

Sounds to me that there is a flap and a motor that needs to be replaced?

not sure if the motor is separate from the flap, but either should be a breeze to swap out

Thanks JasonP....

If you can point me in the right direction for the right part and/or the proper procedure, that would be great. A search does not give me a picture of the part itself, so a I am a bit confused as to exactly where to find it.

Have you performed this on a vehicle before?
