Default '98 Jetta Engine Diagram?

I've done a lot of searches and can't find anything. I just need a simple diagram of labeled parts for reference on my '98 Jetta Engine (everything under the hood).

Anyone know of such a thing?

Do some reading in the TDI Conversions forum. There are a few links posted in guy's swaps.

Do you have a the Bentley Manual for your car? I believe there are pictures/diagrams in the first chapter showing the parts of the engine.

That's the oil dipstick. Pull it out to see how much oil is in the engine.
That's the oil fill cap. If you need oil add it there.
That's the windshield washer jug. ........
What are you trying to identify?

That is the N18, it's used in conjunction with the VE I-Ps and gets command signals from the ECU.

Something in between those scenarios?

Sorry, must have been tired when I read your original post...I thought you were looking for wiring diagrams, not component location.

He's looking for a road map. These are a bit big for forums; but they'll do:

European 1Z intake manifold... but the location is the same...

Have Fun!
