Here we go again. Unless they changed from 09 you have a belt and I think it is 100K miles. But I am tired and can't remember off hand. It is no less then 100K miles. (160934.4 kilometer). They didn't change the engine from the 09 did they. I didn't search for it as the newest TDI in my family is an 09. I only said here we go again on the chain part as a lot of dealers lied on telling people they had chains and they didn't. I have read many topics on the chain since then and I imagine this question my get some replies. If you have pictures of this Golf I you should post them. Dealers I have don't have much for selection to look at.
