Default Competent Nashville (within 100 miles) Mechanics?

I am seeking a mechanic for my 2004 Jetta TDI. It is perfect now but soon it will need some scheduled maintenance that I would prefer not to accomplish. Also, I would entertain some mild performance/modifications modifications.

Does anyone have firsthand knowledge of a good place or person?

Limiting the TDI guru search to 100 miles is gonna be tough.

200 miles away is one of the premier TDI Gurus in this part of the US. Get thee to Bruce (paramedick on the forums) http://forums.tdiclub.com/member.php?u=10190
