2009 Jetta wagon TDI ordered?

We are new to the TDI site and will be looking for all the help we can get.

We have just ordered our first TDI....the 2009 Jetta wagon Highline

and wondered if anybody else in the Toronto area has ordered one and at what price and possible delivery date.

I heard the TDI wagon starts at just over $25K.

we ordered from Queensway VW and at MSRP ...330075 + ESP + taxes + freight& PDI for Highline. Blue Graphite Pearl/Anthracite leather....only extra we added was ESP. They are throwing in window tint!!!

The base model 2.5 5cyl starts at $23,475. TDI base model starts at $25,800. I hope you called around before signing the papers. Am I missing something here or what!!

Standard equipments are: air conditioning, cruise control, electric windows, heated electric exterior
mirrors, remote-locking with anti-theft alarm, 8-speaker MP3-readable CD
player with auxiliary input jack, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, 8-way
adjustable front seats with safety optimized headrests, front and side
airbags, 16 inch wheels, four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, traction control,
and a full-size spare tire.

what is highline? nobody will negotiate on a brand new car.

Top of the line model.

MFA, leather, etc etc.

33K sounds about right..

25K for the eco, 28K for the mid line and 31k for the highline.. This is for the sedan, the wagon will be a bit more.. There was a price sheet somebody posted not to long ago...

VW has decided to change the trim level names: (no more GL, GLS, GLX, etc...at least that means there are three trim levels for TDIs now)

By the way ...the above prices were dropped $1200 across the board late Feb or early March! But no deals as they said they will have absolutely no problem selling them all and even think they may all be pre-sold!

Multifunction Anzeige, or Multi-Function Indicator. Basically it's the display inbetween the Speedo and the Tach that shows you all the neat little things your car is doing.. MPG, temp, yada yada yada. I am not to sure if you have a lowline or highline display. (Highline will display FM radio channels, etc)
