Cool! This will be my first fest, if I'm in the country that is!

A flat state? Cincinnati is the city of 7 hills:
  • Mount Adams
  • Mount Airy
  • Mount Echo
  • Mount Healthy
  • Mount Lookout
  • Mount Storm
  • Mount Washington
There is also the largest fireworks display in the country every year the night before Labor Day. You can either see it in Ohio or across the river in Kentucky.

Its only 517 Miles from Raleigh. I could actually make this on less than a tank!!

I believe I've got a friend in Cincy, too... more reasons to go!

We have a great venue and lots to do in the area. As Growler said, bring the family. This will be a good one and you will have fun!

Why break your perfect TDI Fest non-attendance record?

I'm serious - in past years MOGolf was not interested when I asked if he was going to that year's Fest to the point I quit asking and this was before his work schedule ramped up to current levels.

***See post #26 and #28 below for the correct information as I was incorrect in my recollection of MOGolf's non-attendance at Fests.***

I didn't know him in '02 and don't recall us speaking at that Fest. I stand corrected far as his Fest attendance goes.

At least I PAID up with Fest registration (2002-2007) which helps support this site regardless of how much I was around anyway at each one.

This was in reference to your earlier post in which you said you had not seen me for more than 10 minutes at the last two Fests. Does that bother you? If so, it shouldn't. I was simply taking in the area sights which is one of the Fest's selling points after all.

Knowing the locals, they will labor tirelessly to get it going much earlier.
