UPDATE!!!
Those heading north on Fowlerville Road from the I-96 Fowlerville exit 129 will encounter a detour when they reach CHASE LAKE RD. Follow the detour (left turn).
The detour will lead you to Nicholson Road (about 2 miles) which is where you want to go anyway. Head NORTH (make a right) on Nicholson Road and I will be ~3 miles further on the east side of the road.
anyone interested?
I will start a new thread for potential chipping candidates.

As will I, looking forward to it again! Hopefully "Pearl" will be shod with new suspension components by that time, so she won't be afraid to go out in public anymore.
Thanks for your willingness to host this baby Marty. I heard thru a fellow West Michigander that you've got heat now in the garage-ma-hall?

Mr. Jeff-
If you're there to do chipping, will the guy who tests/replaces nozzles also be there?

Marty-
Suggestion: Since some of us are experiencing VE pump leaks since ULSD has been introduced, would you consider hosting a "VE pump seal replacement workshop"? If yes, any suggestions on a presenter? Would you be willing do this?

I talked to Marty briefly about this idea last spring, but I never put it out there publicly and I never did anything else with the idea as I couldn't make it that weekend last year.
So-ooooo we'll throw it out this year and see what kind of feedback we get....
If there is enough interest, I have a buddy down in Battle Creek w/ a portable dyno who could show up if we had enough committed dollars.
I believe he normally likes to get somewhere in the range of $800 to $1,000 for a day. That would equate to say 20 people at $40 bucks each (minimum) which would get each individual three pulls on the dyno. If we had more people interested, then the price could come down per individual. But since there would be no underwriter for this event the committments from individuals ahead of time must be firm.
With chipping and bigger injector nozzles running wild around the Fowlerville Fest, it might be kind of fun and interesting to see some before and after results on the dyno.
Just a thought, maybe someone more savvy w/ starting polls on this forum could toss this out (compu85)?
Kirk

I can go if I can talk my wife into letting me leave her all day...you know how it was when you were first married?
Anyway, it would be my first GTG and I'm really looking forward to it.

I'd like to fix my shifter linkage. Marty, do you have a tool which would repair stripped threads on a shaft?

I would not miss it!
I do not have anything to work on now, but I was thinking of adjusting the shift linkages so if any one has any experience maybe they will supervise.
As far as the dyno goes, that would be great for me. I have wanted to see what I'm putting to the ground for some time with my setup!
