Final update April 4th. Thanks to all who posted! Even though the vast majority of us will never be near the top of the list, it makes this worthwhile to have so many different cars and drivers for a good comparison.

Overall winner: Fix_Until_Broke - 68.562mpg (!)
Biodiesel winner: gdr703 - 56.916mpg
Best of Show: Bradtholomew - 48.159mpg ;)

lots of 30mpg cross wind on the long north/south legs. even had 20 local stop and start miles included between legs. wife has a continual 2 hr potty call:mad: . i was already on the reserve but could have made 600 miles. kept the car at 2500rpm until the reserve went on then dropped dwn to 2000. now i know. wife is sorry she made me stop and promised another trip to get the elusive 3 miles in the count.

My typical weekly commute-suburban off highway, stop and go, not trying particularly hard for max MPG. Some slow going this tank due to major snow in Chitown.

Well, not too bad. I swear, if ADOT hadn't chosen to close off every useful friggin' freeway in the East Valley over the weekend, I would have had 55. Stupidity by the people around here that decide what to close off when for construction has cost me MORE mileage than I care to count.

Almost all highway driving and about half with a bike mounted on the roof. I always have the bike racks up there so there is a bit of constant drag I would say.

Not my best tank at all lately, but I am on track to exceed 800 on the tank I'm on now. Filled with Chevron Supreme with a half bottle of Redline, it always yields my best results! :)

This was on a long run from Orlando, Florida to Richmond, Virginia driving primarily on I-95 and drafting trucks when possible, average speed around 60 or 61mph. Engine failed at that point; will calculate total mileage for tank when I finish this one off, but with almost 8 gallons left in the tank, this tank could go 1100 miles if I'm careful.\
