Default Where to buy diesel anti gel or Diesel 911 in vancouver, canada?

OK my car died on me today it wasnt the fuel that was empty because when i turned it over again, the gauge moved. So im thinking its gelled in the tank, and because i got it going again, it ran fine but when i stopped the car again it was struggling while iddling, so i just left it at my house. I went to lordco. they were all out canadian tire had nothing or knowledge of anything. Any pointers? thanks jamie

Any truck stops around? What about tractor supply stores?

Personally, I would want to know more about what is going on. It could be a clogged fuel filter, gelled fuel, ice, or any number of other things.

You may need a new battery man. All us guys in the A3/B4 section have flooded the forum with recommendations for a new battery. Take a look for yourself.

If you don't think the battery is doing this, how new are your fuel injectors? Is your car smoking while trying to start or did it smoke like crazy that one time it did start??

I hope you're running the correct synthetic oil. If you aren't that could be your problem too....

i dont recall any smoke, I added some anti-gell and got 610 km on that tank, (seems whenever i fill up its always around 50L) wich is way better than the 550km i was gettin from the last 3 tanks. As for the battery, never really though about that! As for the fuel injectors, i have no idea. How do i check them? I think it may also be a clogged intake? I have to save up my $$ 1st to get it checked out. Thanks for the input,

Any luck on this? Just curious as to whether this worked out or not. Did you get a hold of a tech with VAG and run the codes?

For the fuel injectors, pull them out and do a visual. Easiest way. If they're caked with carbon, you need new ones. Inspect all fuel lines between injectors and running off the fuel filter for leaks or damage. 610 kms a tank is low....a clogged intake can cause it as well a cracked downpipe.

Bad fuel was also a good suggestion...did you drain and fill?? How'd the battery test score?
