The Yellow 'Attack" sports car built by the kids at West Phila High school sounded like a small jet engine when started up. It was so cool.

Nice photos. They captured the weekend well. Thanks guys.
I was amazed to see my '81 Rabbit in a couple of the photos. It was supposed to be incognito in the parking lot...neither showy or shiny enough.

It was the only '81 Rabbit there, so it made it unique enough to be captured.
Fun event for all it seemed, once the rain stopped.

Nice to see my unshiny B4 made it in. You even captured the lens that darkened unevenly, but missed my drooping headliner. (There were reasons I didn't Show & Shine )

I take it you know that you got 3rd place in the go-cart times, right?

Actually, I didn't. I did know that I had to get into the 36s to beat SVTWEB, but I never had clear track. Bugger that flat tire!

SVTWEB probably won by stuffing a bigger motor into the go-cart

Yours, I believe, was the only "antique" in attendance, and in great shape! IMO you should have showed her! AND, Jack, welcome! It's about time you joined, you're about as Diesel as they come!

Although I do understand where you are coming from, here's how I feel:
There were by far more B4's there that did not show than that did . A shame really, when considering the 10 year TDI anniversary.
One of my favorite things about the TDI Club is that most every car is someone’s daily driver! No "Trailer Queens" here! Every B4 there should have showed.
