Got rid of the Bridgestone Potenza's, and went back to the Mich MXV4+. Immediate increase of MPG's.

Worst tank ever. Wife has been driving the Golfy. She does not know how to drive for better mpg nor does she want to! I imagine it will go down while I ride my motorcycle this summer.

Hi Folks!
I want to put the word out that the TDI Fest 2006 Planning Committee is looking for a few good club members...
We're looking for someone who might be interested in giving a tech session type talk regarding ways to get the most (mileage-wise) out of your TDI. We'd like someone to present specific tips and suggestions for each of the engine types, if possible.
If anyone here is interested, or knows of someone who would be a good candidate for this, please pm me!
Thanks, and good luck!
Julie

Not bad for my first Tank 42.33MPG and a lot of stop and go, few short trips a lot of AC, Plus driving it hard for break-in
daily trip ~39 Miles
Much better than the 22.5MPG I was getting with my GTO (04 M6 EPA 17/29) on the same trip.
