Yeah, I am not sure that Keneco sells biodiesel at that location anymore. Also, Aero Energy only sells Biodiesel at their cardlock...they don't sell bioheat. I think they use a B5 blend.

I posted about Nebraska Iowa Supply Company a while ago, but filled up there yesterday for the first time. They have a tank of B100 but legally will only sell B99. So you have to put in some D2 first (just tell them .25 gals) then DRIVE over to the other pump since they're not next to each other and fill the rest of the tank with Bio.

next time i go there i'm gonna see if they'll just fill me all the way up with Bio and then print the receipt with .25gals D2 and 12.75gals BioD since they're the same price anyway, i paid $2.89 yesterday. they're very nice however, hopefully as they become my regular supplier they'll just let me fill B100 and write down that it was B99.

So there are no BioD stations near the highways in NC, SC or Ga? That's absurd. I'd even take a BD station some where in Charlotte (about 1/2 way between my destinations).

Go to the "Blue Sun" web site there are more stations listed for Colorado .

I know of 2 places to buy Blue Sun BD in the Denver area . The first is in Commerce City at the intersection of CO 224 & US 85 , north west corner . They sell B100 & B20

The other is on the Johnston Corner Exit off of I-25 in norther Colorado . I can't recall the exit number but the exit is between Longmont & Ft. Collins . They sold only B20 last ime I was there .

I spend much time in the NC & SC area so I never use a high % of Bd in my VW diesels . I am convinced of the seal failures related to switching from a very high % of BD to petro diesel and back . And as there is almost no place where to buy BD in NC or SC making a complete switch to petro a likely ocurance on my trips home . So if I get stuck using dino diesel only for a while in NC & SC at the lower % of BD I've used the seal failure hopefully will not happen .

I know of 2 places , second hand only as I've never bought any in the south of the US . I normally carry 6 gals with me when I go home and as I can't find any BD . I always end up driving on just dino diesel by the end of the trip home .

There is a guy in the Wilson NC area but I can't recall his name but he buys BD by the train car load I was told . I've never met him but I have had 2 people that run oil companies in south eastern NC mention him to me when I was in the Wilmington NC area looking for BD . I wasn't intersested enough to take a drive to Wilson to look for him though .

There is also a person in the Winston-Salem NC area that sells the stuff . I was told this by an Oil company owner in Troutman NC . That is all I know about NC .

In the south heating oil companies abound . Look in a local area phone book for one and call them for info . If anyone knows about where to buy BD they will .

Good Luck and share any info you find out .

Cropper Oil in Berlin Maryland now has 24/7 pump access with a credit card. Available fuels are B20, B50, and B99. As of next week the goods will be cracked right there in their new 500,000 gallon processor.

All here in the Land of Pleasent Living.
