** attemped IP reseal today** hissing when trying to prime

03 jetta tdi....replaced the 3 main seals .......having a hissing noise from head seal when trying to prime......Suggestions....

Most likely the head o-ring was pinched and is leaking (I've done it...).
Look under the pump with a mirror, you may see a piece of the green o-ring on the outside. You'll probably have to get another seal kit for the o-ring. Pull it all back apart, try again. When assembling, check the new o-ring placement on the bottom and make sure when tightening the bolts the o-ring stays in place. Good luck!!

Yeah don't use the green one. Use the one from dieselgeek. It doesn't have this problem.
