Final Buyback Numbers?

Now that the dust is starting to settle, has anyone seen final numbers for buybacks and fixes? The latest numbers I could find are from July 2018, with 355k cars bought back and 57k opting for the fix. They also state that at least 95% of owners had opened a claim. It would be interesting to see just how many cars were bought back.

Would be pretty interesting to see these numbers as well as I just purchased a used 2015 GSW TDI this past Thursday, 1/17/19.

Add to those numbers how many buybacks have been resold already.

That will be interesting. I'm thinking that pretty much all 95% went through with whichever settlement option they chose. I'm also interested in how the resold cars hold up long term. A lot of owners deferred maintenance leading up to their buyback, then the cars sat unused for a year or two, then they got whatever software alterations were needed to reduce NOx emissions. Time will tell, I suppose.

Many were reworked as well. I also suppose only the best of the best went back out for resale. The others were crushed. Every one I have looked at so far that has had high mileage (over 40k) has been up to date on the required maintenance, including servicing the oil, filters, DSG and brakes and tires and such. Other than some rusty rotors they all seemed in pretty nice shape.
