Help needed, CD/DVD will not eject

I popped a CD into the player today and it will not eject.
Pushing the eject button caused a kind of rattling sound but that is gone now.
Looked through the manual but nothing in there for an emergency eject.
A CD/DVD drive in a computer has a tiny hole to inset a pin to eject. Cannot see anything like that.
Does anyone know how to get a CD out of there? Any tricks to it?

Situation resolved !!!


I took a long piece of plastic, such as many items are boxed in. Made a 6" strip and near one end I made a small triangle facing back using an exacto knife.
Used it to try and hook onto the CD. I got it out!

Glad you got it out. It didn't happen to have a paper label on it, did it? When I bought my Silverado it had stuck CDs in the changer for that reason. I still haven't gotten them out, but took the changer unit out of the headunit so I didn't have to hear it clicking anymore.

No, no paper label, but right now I am leery to pop another disk in there.
