Guru/help in San Antonio

Howdy, anyone know of someone in or near San Antonio that would be interested in doing struts/bearings/mounts on my 04 wagon? Thought I had someone lined up but it doesn't look like he can do it. I have the struts/mounts/bolts/etc from ID parts.

Are you looking for an individual or a garage? This isn't anything special and should be able to be done by any competent mechanic. Seems like Houston and Dallas are the only places left with trusted mechanics now.

A garage would be fine as long as they'll use the parts I bought, or an individual would be ok too. I just don't have a lift, impact wrench, spring compressor, so I'm hesitant to dig into it myself.



I could see driving to Austin for this if necessary.

Jack stands work and spring compressors can be rented I believe at AutoZone. Impact wrench is nice but not really needed. Maybe buy or rent one (electric). I did mine myself once long ago in San Antonio at someones house using just hand tools and stands. Took about half a day. No one I know of in Austin either any more that I am aware of. Harbor freight has an electric impact model for $50. Could resell it when done. Spring compressors for $32.
