Hesitation after fix

2011 Sportwagon tdi. Didn't really notice it at first but last few days car has been really sluggish when cold. When pulling away from a complete stop first gear takes along time to spool up. After driving for a while seems to go away. Any thoughts?

Cant comment to the Gen 1, but Gen 3 shifts out of first pretty early, which makes it seem a little slow out of the gate than previously.

I think they're tampering with the DSG mapping.

I've always wondered about the fact that temperature seems to have a major affect on how the DSG transmission behaves on these cars.
