1. Can anyone tell me if the Malone tune for just the DSG transmission will eliminate the automatic "kick down" or "downshifting" when I am in the manual shift mode? When I am going slow in 2nd gear, the automatic downshift to 1st is so low that it is entirely unnecessary. Can anyone with a DSG Malone tune comment?

2. What does a Malone DSG tune do?

3. Is the sport mode even "sportier?"

4. Is regular automatic mode the new "sport?"

Thanks for any comments.

(sorry for the ad just trying to clarify for OP)

Yes it will eliminate automatic shifting in manual mode, allowing you to drive the car as you please. Sport mode is also considerably more aggressive and setup more like you'd expect for sporty driving/ autox use. Regular drive mode will be fairly normal but is more responsive, the car will have a very split personality between driving lightly in drive versus spiritedly in sport.

You can find full info here, we do custom dsg tuning for race applications and big turbo gas cars as well http://malonetuning.com/ecu-tuning/dsg
