wtb: jetta/golf in NY/PA/NJ/DE area

hey all. before i commit to a '91 jetta i've been eyeing, i'd like to see whats available in my area in the $5k-ish range. i'm not looking for a project car, but i'm open to almost anything. let me know what you've got. thanks!

I have a 2000 jetta that needs an auto trans and a fender. asking $3700.
you can pick up a rebuilt trans in Reading for $1500.
