Is the O2M-ERR a diesel transmission?

anyone know where I can order a ring and pinion set for this 02m ill just make it work
It's not just one pinion gear...

Gears 1-4 are on one shaft with a shorter pinion.

Gears 5-6 are on a different one with a taller pinion.

Both mesh with the same ring gear...

Generally the shafts themselves are one piece with the pinions, so you'd have to press off all the synchro hubs/selectors and various sleeves, then press them onto the new, correct shafts...

Might as well buy the right used transmission to start with.

All that work to put the wrong transmission in....
Real men of genius "Mr. put the transmission in and I don't have the correct ratios man". I had a plan............

Without mistakes, we wouldn't learn anything, now would we? By the time Apone is done, he will probably have Guru level knowledge on this stuff.

Yeah, I just had a learning experience with lining up a transmission for bolting up to the engine. I didn't have a problem with this process, it's that I had to do it THREE times because the first time I forgot to install the clutch fork! Second time I found that one of the plate's ears, that goes around one of the alignment dowels, had managed to fold itself over (no clue as to how this happened; would never have gotten the trans and engine seated together fully). And, the third time was a charm! Thank goodness I had a good arrangement for handling the transmission (by myself). Without a doubt, next time I do any of this work I won't be making these mistakes again!

But, for the OP, this is really a painful lesson.
