16v on 8V block? ...

Like the title says. ...can this be done?...and will the earlier injectors fit the 16v head?...I don't want to use the cam to operate the injectors and don't want the newer block that has the balancer shafts. ..just wandering if the later 2.0 head will fit the ealier block. ...thanks in advance

It is possible to mount the 16v head, a few guys have done it.
