Opinions on Gen 2 vs Gen 3 fixes

I was wondering if there are differences because of the generation change of engines in applying the approved fixes?

Will the gen 3 fix be more reliable as compared to the gen 2 fixes?

What do you think?

Different engines...
Different EPA requirements​....
Different fixes.
Time will tell about the long-term.

As my Magic 8-Ball is still in the shop, I couldn't even hazard a guess....
