Passat B5.5 1.9 TDI AVF turbo upgrade

Passat B5.5 1.9 TDI AVF GT1752V! max torq/HP tiptronic??

could somebody help me?
My turbo is not so good anymore and i want to replace it for a bigger one.
I cant find anything that says what turbo is Plug and Play...
The local tuner here say only GT1749VA is P and P and other not...
on forums i read that some turbo's are P and P ( BV43 BRD ).
the local turbo genie says that he can rebuild my stock VA to VB?? with a VB backplate VB turbine and house...
could somebody tell me what turbo is P and P??
i wass thinking about a gt1749VB or BV43.
i thought that MK4 and passat have same engines bud its not

bv43 from 170hp which fits to exchange with GT1749VA is BorgWarner 5303-988-0109, quite expensive though.

Customizing the stock VA turbo to VB size is to expensive for the results in my opinion, as it needs machining of compressor cover and turbine housing.
Backplate is identic though, but that part costs only 15 bucks so not a brainer.

You can get BV43's second hand for 100 euros upwards, these are plug and play and good for 200chp+, so this is definitely your best option.

TBH I would not want an used unit with de facto unknown history in my car, especially as the bv series is more sensitive to various failures than Garrett VNT units.....

And remanufactured can be even vorse than used ones.

I always ran second hand turbo's on my previous cars...
never had any issues with these turbo's...

Best would be a bv43 pd 170 spec with CR 170 cartridge- better spool from low down and loads of air up the rev range ! It works pretty well on my daily a4 2.0 tdi with 140 Bhp injectors on pd170 engine block and stock map ! The CR CHRA has a billet compressor wheel and if you're handy with a welder a CR140 Bhp is even better- smaller trim, billet wheel and more blades on turbine for quick spool from low revs ! Contrary to what internet says, I found absolutely no difference in spool at high revs between the 9 blade turbine and 11 blade turbine however the cr140 turbo is a lot punchier low down !

So after some time i have a brand new GT1752V. Runs and spools great.
Bud now i have a other question can somebody tell me how much torq and hp my tiptronic can handle?

With the new turbo i wanns go to 2600 a 2700mbar.
