Fuse card on 2002 Jetta TDI

I am trying to work out why the AC has stopped working and thought I would check the fuses.

The fuse card which is supposed to identify the function of each fuse is very unhelpful. There are 44 fuse locations (some blank). Of these, at least 9 have the same useless symbol, an open book with an exclamation point.

I have a photo of the card; is there a way I can attach it so people looking at my questions can see it?

Does anyone have a list of what is connected to each of the fuses?

More specifically, is there a particular fuse that is associated with the AC?

Thanks.

What are the symptoms? Cold air comes and goes? If that's the case, see if the cooling fans are running when the cold disappears. If they're not running, replace the cooling fan control module.

Is there a definitive list of the correct fuse amperage for each slot in a 2002 Jetta TDI? It blowa my mind that the card doesn't tell you, nor does the owners manual.
