You are correct, for the current October thread I will include sedan and wagons in the final tally. I have not seen Brock from WI list on these threads in quite a few months, a good question.

It was suggested that this monthly thread was NOT a competition, but looks like there is some interest on it. I´m in.

Informal Competition / with a disclosure

Personally I have always seen this as a competition even if I know I can't do that great with my auto tranny TDI's. This is only a "competition" to those who want to make it that. I just like tracking how I am doing with normal driving and what I can do during my normal driving to get better MPG. The disclosure is, I do not promote doing anything that may make you drive erradic and or endanger other on the road for the sake of improved MPG. Heck there are enough threads debating all sides of this one. The bottom line is we are all responsible for our own actions and should just be careful while driving. End of disclosure.

You were the best DSG Jetta for last month, DSG's have a distinct advantage over an old fashioned slush box auto tranny. So I will include a DSG category for October.
