This is the new project Completechip is been working during the winter
3.0 M57 engine prepared by Dragos himself.

custom big biturbo setup done in house
dual cp3 pump built in house
big injectors , custom rail
nothing is been left untouched.
8hp gearbox conversion with standalone
All mounted on 1 series bmw with total weight of 1250kg ready to race package.

NX nos setup which works flawless compared to Wizard of nos who was such a disappointment and we lost a season with sh|t hardware and 0 support.

Its been an intensive year of hard work and we finally got to test the new project on a prepped surface. We've never been on a serious track so you can imagine the fear of breaking trans and driveshafts and so on.
I guess it was our lucky day, we started doing 9.7 on low setup to verify everything works ok, then we improved to 9.5s

The last run after some more tweaking shifting strategy ..finally rewarded us with the long awaited time of 9.24s .

0-100 2.3s

100-200 in 3.98s

200-250 in 3.38s

1/4 mile in 9.24s @ 246kmh

Onboard video from the last run.

Now we set a higher goal, going 8s before the year ends. We believe we can do it.

More videos later.

Dragy runs, impressive accurate vs official timeslip

Speechless in a very positive way! If I could just get my wagon to go 200km/h ...

Yes, aluminum block used above.
we have 2 cast iron also running 650 and 620hp iirc. Results at the end of this week when we have the 1st race of season.

Awesome, that's the answer I was hoping for. It goes to show that aluminum is a perfectly suitable block material for Diesel engines contrary to some naysayers. VAG is sadly the last major holdout in the passenger car Diesel world to go completely to Al crankcases (although it did have a few). Even the GM I6 3.0 Duramax has an aluminum block. BMW was the first with such a highly rated engine, Daimler's excellent OM654 is all-aluminum, too.

With the proper mods these engines take 800+hp without issues, no overheating, no pressure in water system. All runs fine.
Vag engines are ages behind.

Except for weight, is there more reasons to use Aluminium block over iron?

You have good results btw, congrats! 1000+ HP in a few years from now?

You don't mention any internal changes, i.e rods, pistons etc?
