I have had this on going Issue with my 05 Passat. If it sits it will take about 3 or 4 times of turning over til the "stop" comes on the display. Runs good when it does start.
So I saw a video where the #1 injector was bad and the engine would not start with it connected. I happen to have another car, so I swapped out the injector from the other car. Now I am not getting anything from the #1 injector. I have power to it, I have continuity through the coil. But I am not getting any fuel from it. I pulled the valve cover just to clarify again. I took out another injector from other car and am going to swap it just because I have one and hope for the best. I am wondering which tab on the cam is for the #1 injector. Wondering if I bent it far enough from sensor when I removed valve cover the first time. Is there any number I should be trying to achieve with a feeler gauge??
