Guys...I am totally lost on this...and totally new ofcourse

I have spent alot of time searching and I just cant find a definative guide on this.

I have a 2009 Jetta TDi Sedan Highline. The car currently does not have a Satellite box or RNS-510. I have ordered a US RNS-510, but I can't figure out what all is needed for Sirius to work?

I hear Sharkfin alot, but is it really required? Seems to be a pain in the ass to setup this.

Actually I have no idea what I need, so lets say I only have RNS-510, what all is needed to make a Jetta with no pre-installed sirius work with sirius?

It is highly recommended to put the antenna on the roof. The reception sucks when it is in the dash. Been there, done that.

My antenna is located under the rear parcel shelf and I still get interrupted service where I should not.

Try to get one with 90 degree angle FAKRA. There is not too much space behind RNS.
