Hallo to all,i Need to know,if nobody knows the correct dimension of the spline hub.

I know only that is 36 teeth.

Probably is an american dimension.

The diameter of axle is 28.7mm,I don't know in inchs

Which automobile?

"MKIV 25 YEARS" tells us nothing. There was no Mark 4 25 years ago.

VW used different spline for the A3 and B4 depending on whether the motor was four cylinders or six cylinders. Maybe the same is on your automobile, we don't know until we know what automobile it is.

Please provide us with the Chassis code, motor code, and transmission code.

Ok
I'm talking about a classic golf 4 110 cv ASV engine, european versione, the same of ALH version.

In the picture you can see bearing hub(5x100 pf course),so i need ot know the dimension of the central spline,I know in only 36 teeth.
I think is a american dimension and not an european dimension.

you have already given this answer...

But you miss to write the most importan information.
The dimension or value of spline.

Have you considered, maybe it's a 25th Anniversary GTI, which occurred in the MKIV version, and it was available with the PD150?

I did not omit the spline dimensions, because I do not know the spline dimensions.
My request for your automobile's information was in the hopes that someone else might use your automobile's information to provide you with the spline dimensions for which you are looking.
In the US there were six different axles on the A4, three versions with inner and outer C/V joints, and three with inner tripode and outer C/V.
I have no dimensional data on any of those.

Have you considered, maybe it's a 25th Anniversary GTI, which occurred in the MKIV version, and it was available with the PD150?
No I didn't consider that. I'm much more familiar with the A3/B4 than I am with the A4.
Now that you're here with your greater wealth of A4 knowledge, can you answer his question about his spline dimensions?

it's doesn't important, beacuse you can use the most accurate caliper, but if is unknowed the correct accordance for make the spline,it's impossible give right instructions for machining the central spline. But nobody on this website is CAD designer or work with CNC??Blizzard could you ask to someone?

calipers are very imprecise for this application.

you really need a CMM, either a contact style (with a tiny probe on it) or a non-contact (say laser) for it.

or cut a chunk of the axle off and use a optical comparator
