I'm going to be doing the 01m to 02j in about a month. I'm going to be deleting the EGR cooler while I'm installing the PD150 at the same time and already found the EGR cooler delete hose at IDparts. From what I'm reading on the install I need to get a 5/8 double male hose fitting for once I remove the automatic transmission cooler to connect the inlet and outlet coolant hose to each other. Not having the car here with me, or knowing where those hoses connect out of the cooler, I'm not sure what I need to order.

Can someone help? Is there a manual specific hose that I need to get? What do I need to get?

The two trans cooler hoses go to the water manifold on the side of the head, and to the steel water line that wraps around to the thermostat housing. Just tee them together to close the loop. The trans cooler sits on top of the transmission so teeing the lines together is really simple and easy.
