so my car was running fine till yesterday when I got in and it wouldn't start. It cranks but does not fire up. Check engine light came on along with flashing flow plug light. I checked anti shutter valve and that was fine and I also noticed there is no relay 109. There are two other ones 100 and 53. I'm stumped and we are starting to think it may be the fuel pump.

If you do not have a relay 109 then you are not going to start anything. My guess is that you would not even get the flashing glow plug light.
It could be hiding behind the double-wide 377 (? I think that is the #) relay.

ok so i got it towed to a shop and the mechanic says that the injectors are getting fuel but he noticed that there was only 9 volts going to the (injection pump?) and there is supposed to be 12 volts. He said it was either 109 relay or ignition switch

Thanks, found out a mouse was chewing my wires.... got rid of the mouse and ran a wire directly to the solenoid.

glad its working but did you ever figure out the mystery of a missing 109 relay and a running vehicle?
