Who can do a 5 speed manual conversion on my jetta for me?

so, i now have access to a 2000 crashed jetta TDI, with a 5 speed engine and 102K on it. but it has no options

i would like to have the engine and the trans from the 5 speed, put into my 2001 jetta GLS

who can i get to do this work, and how much will it cost me in labor and or parts?

i would imagine that the labor is going to be the killer...

You'll/he'll also have to supply some one-time use bolts (such as for the mount).

if you do already have all the parts, figure ~$1500 for labor... but don't quote me on that

Yep. Just like the web page says. All day if you have the stamina for a 24 hour marathon. That's about the length of time. There is no owner standing around "bugging" on this job. Only drop and leave. There is always something missing and it takes a week or so. Sometimes more. Depends on the "completeness" of the parts car or the crate of parts.
