Got this today:
"Based on an initial review of your claim, we have determined that we need additional information for Volkswagen to process your claim. Please submit the following document by mailing or faxing it to the address or number listed below.
PROOF_OF_NOT_SALVAGE Please click here to visit the Online Claims Portal where you can upload the document. If you do not want to submit online, you can choose to submit the document by mail or fax.
As a reminder, please ensure that your reference number is visible on the top of each document. Your reference number is 17003XXXX."
I read in a previous post that someone had asked for clarification, and was told it was a "bill of sale/transfer" that was needed, and that it was a "typo" that they requested "PROOF_OF_NOT_SALVAGE". Sure enough, in the portal it says requesting proof of acquisition (see below).
On the portal, the only option they've given me is to snail mail it in, no fax number or digital upload option. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?
