I have a blinking glow plug light again and car runs and drives fine but I know it could be a little better and vag com is claiming no fuel getting to the injectors any thoughts or should I contact ross tech support?

Well, whatever it is it's being sensed without the engine running.

Two questions:

why is one of the temperatures displaying -90c

have injectors, GPs or ECU been disconnected with the key on at any time?

Have you cleared the codes? Do they come back in?
I would look for a bad wire splice in the injector loom.
The temperature sensor question is a good one.

What does mvb 013 show for the 4 values?

Nothing disconnected with the key on. I know better than that but I did open the fuel lines at the injectors to bleed the air out after replacing the fuel filter but this problem was there before and the reason for the filter change. I cleaned the egr valve and balanced the throttle body. When I did the egr cleaning I disconnected the fuel line at the quantity adjuster and probably shouldn't have done that. I clear the codes and they come back immediately like a bad girlfriend.

Ross tech support says to check the resistance in the injectors and if they check good look for a bad ground between the injectors and the ecu.

Are you talking about the 2010 car in your profile? If no, ignore the rest of this post. If yes, you do not have to "open the fuel lines at the injectors to bleed the air out" and it might even be a bad idea. Replacing the fuel filter cannot get any air into the fuel rail or injectors. The injectors are in the very high pressure section of the fuel system and the fuel filter is in the low pressure part of the system. All you are supposed to do after replacing the fuel filter is to run the 2 electric pumps to fill (prime) the low pressure part of the system. The high pressure side of the system is always pressurized and air free by design.

I am not sure what you mean by the "quantity adjuster". Are you talking about the fuel metering valve on the HPFP? I really can't comment on this since I'm not certain what you mean.

Have Fun!

Yes Don it is my 2010 Jetta and this was my first fuel filter change so thank you I will remember that next filter change. 40000 miles on my old filter. I think the Bentley manual named the device in question the Quantity adjuster. I know others will think different but unless I need a wiring diagram the Bentley manual doesn't help too much.

Correction all injectors passed the resistance test and I have 100,000 mile warrenty so it's at the dealer. They called me this morning saying the car was miss fueled or bio was used and the car needs 4 new injectors and that's very uncommon. I told him I am the only driver and a retired truck driver the wasn't miss fueled and that would blow the pump first. I also said a live scan at idle shows the injectors putting out but a scan with just the key turned shows the injectors putting out nothing with a fuel temp of -90 C He now says he will work with me. I sent my brother to the same dealer last week and he bought a brand new 2013 JSW
