so i got my car last night, got it home this morning because battery was dead last night, started to hear a knocking noise, but it wasnt the IP, so we popped the hood, and this is what i noticed, bottom pulley on the left (if that makes any sense, is bent or something, and is rubbing on something, im hoping its just a problem with the pulley and not the crank snout, but you be the judge, what do you think it could possibly be?

Harmonic balancer has gone to crap and I bet so has the clutched alternator pulley.

there are a lot of threads on the balancers going bad and how they were updated a couple of years back.

Maybe its the crank cog. Pull it apart and inspect it.

My pinning is not that difficult. but you better inspect it when you pull the balancer. Then you have to install a new one time use bolt so you might as well pin it.

Don't run it until you've inspected it

Well, yeah!
my guess is the harmonic balancer still needs replaced, since its been run with only 1 bolt for who knows how long, and while i have it out i may as well examine the crank snout. thanks to all!!!!

The balancer is likely to be no worse due to the three missing bolts. If it was already slipping and squealing when cold and first started, it will still slip and squeal. If it wasn't slipping immediately before, it won't now. (But for how long until it does? The original design ones all will.).
I'd replace all four of the bolts and then only replace the V pulley if it shows signs of lateral movement as it rotates.

The crank snout is also likely to be OK. Don't create a problem (one you DON'T have now) by re-using the crank bolt.
For peace of mind try to tighten it with a torque wrench set to about 80 lb*ft. Normal is 66 lb*ft + 1/4 turn more. 80 is less than required to get that additional 1/4 turn so you won't over tighten and weaken the bolt any more, yet over 66 to assure that it isn't too loose. If it moves at less than 80 someone has been in there and not set it correctly. THEN, if that is the situation, replace the bolt, check the crank, and consider replacing the sprocket.

okay thanks, it doesnt really squeal, but it hits the timing belt cover and makes a scratching, thumping sound, i will fix it when i pull the motor for the samurai swap
