I have been lurking around the forums for a few years now without actually owning a TDI. However, today I just purchased a 2012 Jetta Sportwagen. I will be picking the car up on Thursday and am super excited to not only have my first foray into the wonderful worlds of diesels, but also a reason to post here.

Go to Walmart and get silver bottle of power service.

Another noob question. What's the silver bottle of Power Service and what's it help?

You can skip the Power Service diesel fuel supplement. You're in Pennsylvania, where 2% biodiesel is mandated by law. You'll have all of the lubricity you'll need with none of the hassle and expense that some people have in other states.

Yeah, I pour in 1 quart of B100 with every 12 gallons of diesel to ensure I have ~2% biodiesel blend. Plus I use 5oz of Power Service as well.
every tank since new. 114,700 miles and running perfect.
