I'd contact kerma or Malone and get a tune from one of them, that'll get you more power and efficiently. This. If you want to keep your warranty just drive it and maintain it as VW produced it.Then leave it absolutely stock. There is nothing to be gained by changing the air intake.
VW will use any excuse to deny warranty coverage. If warranty coverage is paramount ... leave it absolutely stock. Don't touch a thing outside of documented scheduled maintenance.
For best results, mount behind the ASV valve. When it grenades, it will pass harmlessly through you engine and turbo hot section and be vaporized in your DPF during the next regen.I have spinner air box. Better flow with more bling!
