VCDS ABS communication to many errors

Yes my ABS light has come on several times in the last couple of weeks so I hook up VCDS and go the the ABS module. The ABS module page opens and it knows gets the info on my ABS system. But then when I ask for trouble codes as I know some are stored, it churns and then says "too many communication errors.

What do I do now?

Disconnect the big plug on the abs module and plug it back in, I had some random error on mine and that cured it. Got the idea off here when searching.

I would try that first anyway.

Oh even better: I downloaded the latest version of VCDS and the problem went away. Just makes me say hmmmmmmm.
