Brake light on and flashes

I bought the car about 3 weeks ago and the abs light has always been on and off but mostly on. Now recently the brake light comes on and flashes. I realised that after using the brakes on and off constantly that I lose the power part of power brakes.

Is that caused by the abs module? I believe it's a pump that powers the brakes. Where is it located and is there any maintenance that could be done or I have to change it?
