IF it comes down to it how many are up for a trip to Raleigh to let the legislature know how much we don't want or need a front license plate ???

Post this question on as many car enthusiast sites as you can . Maybe if the legislature gets wind of the fact we car people are about to shut down the capital over this issue they might just drop it .

If you answer maybe , what would it take to make you say yes ??

__. For the next couple of months, I'm working 6 on/ 1 off and the day off is usually not on the weekend -- and I usually don't know what day that is until 4-5 days before it happens. That makes it hard to plan doing things on specific days. I'm up, but not really in a position to do anything for a while.

>Thank you for your email and for weighing in on the dual license plate
issue. I filed SB 673 because law enforcement backed it and felt that
it would have significant benefits in terms of public safety. In
receiving the fiscal impact statement this week, I do not feel that the
potential benefits are worth the cost of implementation
-- an argument many individuals who wrote to me made as well. For this reason, I am not pursuing the bill. NC will remain a single tag state. Thanks for your active involvement.
