*Thanksgiving Weekend* meet/lunch/cruise/photoshoot! Sunday November 26th, 2006

Let me just start off by saying....
This meet is going to be awesome! I know many members have been awaiting a cruise and photo opportunity.

Remember, many new and old members will be here! All are welcome!

RAIN OR SHINE.... this meet will still take place

This meet will take place Sunday, November 26th 2006. This meet will involve a meet, lunch break at Red Robin, a cruise, and an awesome photoshoot and drive around the Morton Arboretum http://www.mortonarb.org/

The goal of this meet is to provide a great meet with Eurotek guys who cannot usually meet on Thursday's. We want to provide as much driving time as possible. We also want to have plenty of time to take pictures and take advantage of the awesome backgrounds at the arboretum.

"Early bird" meet-up
Those of you are located in the burbs can meet up with a lot of us in Aurora at 10:45 AM on Sunday in order to drive the main location. We will be meeting at McCarty Elementary School's parking lot.

Here is the location on mapquest: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...&zipcode=60504
Not everyone has to meet here, but for those of us that do....

"The Meet" and lunch
We will drive to AMC Cantera 30 movie theatre and Red Robin restaurant in Warrenville.
Here are the directions from McCarty Elementary school to lunch: http://www.mapquest.com/directions/m...%20Restaurants

IMPORTANT NOTE: Red Robin is our "main meeting location"
Those who do not meet up in Aurora, please meet us at Red Robin. Meet us at 11:30~ AM

Here is the location on Mapquest for those who are NOT meeting in Aurora:
http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...&zipcode=60555

- Park our cars, hang out for a little bit
- Eat at Red Robin (next door to AMC)

Cruise

Our cruising road will be I-88W. We will take I-88W from Red Robin till we decide to turn around and head toward Morton Arboretum. We will follow the lead car (most likely me), take an exit on I-88W where people can get gas real quick and then get on I-88E toward the arboretum. We will merge onto IL-53 N which will take us right to the arboretum.

Photoshoot/"cruise and shoot"

Here is the Morton Arboretum address on Mapquest: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...ode=60532-1288
- Arrive at Morton Arboretum at 2:30~ PM
- Enter Morton Arboretum, and drive the road that circles the park (9~ miles)
- Stop along the way in their parking lots and on the road to take some pics with an awesome background!

This place is absolutely awesome in the fall and winter. It should be a great place to take pictures and have a scenic drive as a group. Instead of charging us $7 person like they usually do, we have an all day photoshoot pass as a group. It is a $100 flat fee. Hopefully you guys can pitch in a few bucks and help me out with this expense.

- Exit the arboretum and drive home
- Those that live in Aurora/Naperville/Surrounding towns can drive back together

A few things I need to mention...
I understand when a group this big gets together and has time to cruise, things have the opportunity to get out of hand. There is going to be driving time, I just ask that you drive responsibly. Just a few things I want to mention:
-Please do not embarras Euroteknik as a club
-Do NOT get us kicked out of the Morton Arboretum, it is my repuation on the line and they were very accomodating.
-Keep it good clean fun, let's all go home happy and intact

Things you NEED to bring:
-Your camera
-Tripod
-Camcorder if you want
-Your IPASS
-$ for lunch and the arboretum (if you want to help me out )
-Your keys (duh)
-A sweatshirt

Hopefully with your guys' help, this can be a meet to remember! Yes, bringing leftover turkey as snack is allowed.... but no cross dressing (Z!
)

Sorry Zoheb, last one I promise lol.
